About The Coins
The Pieniak Collection has a variety of different types
of coins for purchase. The collection displayed on this
website only represents about half of the entire collection
, but it contains such a variety of different types of coins
that there is sure to be a coin you like.
98% of the coins on this web site were selected by the late Robert Pieniak.
Robert Pieniak was a historian by hobby and was schooled in
numismatics, with a passion for ancient coins.
Born in Detroit Michigan and later moving and settling in Clearwater
Florida, he served as President of the Clearwater Coin Club. For
several years he served as President and bought and sold coins.
Acquiring not only ancients, he gained quite a nice American
and Foreign coin collection.

The coins in the Pieniak Collection have been selected by an experienced numismatist with years of training. The information provided in this website required lots of hard work and hours of research. The information about each coin is available as a courtesy, and our research is free for anyone's personal use. Feel free to cross reference any of our coins before you purchase. The coins are "As-Is". Price is set by the seller. Feel free to voice your opinions by contacting us via email. Be aware that other coin sellers may sell you a coin that is not the same as their displayed image - it may be of the same type but of a different grade. All of the coins from the Pieniak Collection have their own image.

Your purchased coin will come to you within 14 days (more than likely within a week). We will package
your coins with an information card about your coin inserted into the coin sleeve.

Coin Weight

The weight of each coin in some cases is the exact weight as provided with the original
packaging of the coin. Other coins may have standard or average weight for that
denomination and can vary with ancient coins.

Coin Image

The photos were taken at a consistent distance to allow the viewer to get a feel for the
actual coin sizes. Compare some of the worlds’ largest coins to some of the worlds’
smallest coins. The images below can give a general idea of the size of a large coin in
the same image frame size used for each image.
